      A. Baki Kuris, the Director of Commerce and Industry of Istanbul, will lead a delegation of 19 entrepreneurs to visit Nanjing on October 19 to November 1.
     Turkey and Jiangsu have been maintaining good economic and trade cooperation. In recent years, bilateral economic and trade cooperation develop rapidly. In 2010, Jiangsu imports and exports to Turkey totaled about $ 2.545 billion, an increase of 52.0%. Istanbul Chamber of Commerce is Turkey's largest, most powerful chamber, with a total of 15,000 production-oriented member companies, the output value accounted for 40% of Turkey's industrial added value, export volume accounted for 35% of  Turkey's total exports. Both parties have a good working relationship.
     The visiting delegation was led by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce 17 entrepreneurs, from machinery, textiles and clothing, furniture, packaging, metals, automobiles, building materials and other industries. The purpose is to further understand the Jiangsu's economic, industrial development, explore cooperation areas, visit our industrial parks, and to exchange and negotiate with our related enterprises.
     To further promote the economic and trade cooperation with Turkey and help our companies expand in Turkey, Central Asia and European markets, to find new business opportunities, we will schedule to hold a Jiangsu-Turkey Industry & Commerce Cooperation Conference from 9:00-12:00 am on November 1, in Jinling Hotel in Nanjing.
    As a member of CCPIT and Jiangsu Commerce Chamber, we are invited to attend the conference.
